So Exactly Why is there Not Enough Money for Almost Everything in America Today?
I know, I know .. I say this ALL THE STINKIN' TIME, but really; don't we?
So every time and I mean EVERY TIME I turn on the news; read the news; hear the news; see the news, all it seems to every say is 'there is no money for that' ... there's not enough money for anything. We can't give raises because there's no money; companies can't fix things because there is no money; households cannot even afford food because there's no money -- for pity sakes people, it's 2020. Why are we not better off than our parents? We certainly work more hours (I'd wager), and there is a lot more money in America. And even, despite the bulk of wealth being in the top 10% (oh, I guess if you have all the money you are the top -- my bad) why is there not more money put into circulation for the bulk of the workings of America?
I take this moment to remind everyone that only our government can create money. And our money is not held to any standard (i.e. gold, etc.) so it is worth what we say it is. So with all that into consideration; and the fact that our government creates money when it feels it necessary (it's war machine) then how do we convince the Economists to convince our representatives that more money does need to flow into the working sectors of this country? Riddle me that will ya, and in the meantime, #stopfundingthewealthy
