The Latest on My Work Life ...

There are times, although seldom I feel, when work is just a pure joy of the spirit. My latest job took me to Las Vegas for the Zone 2 Paints and it was, in a word, WONDERFUL! I mean, everything that could go well did go well.

I have trimmed my schedule down so I could be home a bit more with The Hubbs and this trip happened because I got to fill in for another Shooter that got caught up in other work/home life.

Why so gleeful you ask? Well, first off, I'm staying at the South Point Hotel & Casino and there are theaters there ... theaters with 2, that's right, 2 Brand New Horror Movies that I got to sit in on! Clown in a Cornfield (so fun and surprising) and Until Dawn (really really really so worth seeing). And, yeah, I did get to drink as well so it was a win/win.

My job was to man The Backdrop Photo Area and it was super fun to see the Paint folks that I don't get to see much of these days! Children was super good; I had a friend that worked with us as well and she's a dog person so alllllll my Win Photo Dogs were so dang cute and well posed! The horses were of a super nice caliber (as usual for this show) and everyone was in a good mood. It wasn't at all like being at work; it was like being at a nice cocktail party; meaning small groups of people chatted and were at different stations around the photo set up; there was mingling and laughing and just a super nice vibe for the entire time I was there. It refreshed my soul to say the least.

Heading home I got a super good tip on slots and The Fates were so kind as to lead me right to a quick profit of $181 while on my way to my flight gate. Yep, I was feeling like I used to when I lived in Vegas - relaxed and groovy. ;)

So that's it ... nice start to the Breed Show Season for me and a mellow attitude heading into the Summer!

Groovy Vibes to you all!
