Following The Path ... sort of

So you might be asking yourself why are there two trees on this blog and what do they have to do with a path? Well, here's the story ...

I want to work more in my home area so I have been scoping photo op areas to shoot portraits at. I even made it out to Palo Duro Canyon and found some outstanding pretty (and backlit i.e. tree number 1 example) locations. Then, the very next day we got hit with 25-30 mph winds. "sigh"

So then today (Sunday) I find a perfect tumbleweed for our family holiday photo and our sycamore is looking pretty autumn'ish so I set up for a shot and then low and behold I get a wave of cloud cover. I move onto Plan B. 

But honestly, I feel The Fates are trying very hard to nudge me on a path ... I am just not certain where the path is!
